Lina Perssons Book withdrawal celebration during GIBCA extended

New Reactive Earth: Story-world Bible was a planned publication consisting of maps, prompt cards, and a booklet, encapsulating Lina Persson’s inner fictional storyworld. The publication was fully prepared for print when the artist suddenly halted the process and cancelled production. At this withdrawal event, visitors were invited to view a test print of the planned book and listen to a sound piece reflecting on withdrawals and shutdowns.

During the evening we celebrated the library as a space for reconfiguring our assumptions, for imaginations kept in flux, for pages kept blank as surfaces for expressions yet to come and for natural life preserved from industrial extraction. 

The test print is now part of our collection. 
During the exhibition some of Linas previous books and printed matter that the collection already holds was on display.
